Five loci is a good start, but real palaces scale. The trick to expanding isn’t cramming more images into the same five stops, it’s adding more stops, and eventually more palaces entirely.
Go back through your home (or add a second familiar building, your office, a relative’s house) and extend your route to ten or fifteen stops. Keep the same rule from Day 5: pick a consistent walking order, and choose stops that are physically distinct from each other so images don’t blur together. A common mistake is choosing two stops too close together, like “kitchen counter” and “kitchen table”, they’re close enough that images bleed. Space your stops out.
Once one palace feels reliable, build a second one from an entirely different building. You’ll use separate palaces for separate topics later, a grocery-list palace, a study-notes palace, a speech palace, so they never interfere with each other.
