Textbook definitions are dense and abstract, exactly the kind of information that’s hardest to picture, and exactly why most students just re-read them until exam day and hope. Instead, break each definition into its core 2-3 ideas, turn each idea into a picture, and chain them the same way you’d chain any list.
Take a definition like “inflation: a general rise in prices that reduces purchasing power.” Core ideas: rising prices, weaker money. Picture a price tag physically inflating like a balloon, and a wallet shrinking as it does. Two images, chained, is far faster to recall under exam pressure than a memorized sentence.
For the term itself, use a keyword sound-alike (Day 15) if it’s not already a picturable word, then link that keyword image into the same chain as the definition images.
